Hyatt House Tampa Airport / Westshore

Quality has gone down tremendously since they first opened. I’ve stayed at the Hyatt House at Avion Park several times now. I’ve always had a good experience until my last visit. I was disappointed in the customer service with one particular front-desk employee - middle aged Asian lady. I now see the wear and tear on the once new rooms; I had to make two maintenance requests to repair issues in my room for things that didn’t work properly. Also, housekeeping was requested one day to clean and they never came. This used to be my go-to hotel while in town - now I’ll be looking for other options.

Can't say enough about how great this hotel is. The property is newer, clean, and well maintained. Rooms are a GREAT value and have many important amenities that make you feel like you're almost home. Most importantly though, the staff at this property is EXCEPTIONAL. Whatever their management has done to empower them to provide wonderful customer service, IS WORKING. Jade and Vickie in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was pleasant, and truly made me feel like a welcomed and valued individual. The rest of the front desk staff was also consistently warm and welcoming, even during times when the hotel was busy and packed. Can't say enough about their customer service. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

This is a great place for extra family to stay when visiting from out of town. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The showers have great water pressure and there are plenty of fresh towels. The room layout is inviting and open. Great lobby for a quick meet and greet with business partners as well. The location is in a very busy area but it is conveniently located near tongs of great shopping, dining options and the airport. Great customer care from the front desk as well. They will really take care of you here.

I came to town to view with our family. While our granddaughter had arched surgery. it was all well planned and turned out. Just great so that's fine. bring that time We had trouble with the television service and had to change rom's twice . Anthony, who was working the front desk and did everything in his power and more to see that we were well taken care of. Three day stay including today saturday january sixth twenty twenty four. I cannot say enough about Anthony and his absolute attention to our needs. For as long as it took to resolve. thanks again Anthony

Selected this hotel over a nearby competitor (less than a mile), even though it was pricier (about 50 extra a night), as it is a newer hotel and in an area near the airport that was less busy with traffic. This hotel, as described in more detail below, had all of the different things you look for in a home away from home. Safe, Secure, Comfortable, and Friendly. Front Desk staff were friendly and informed. Morning breakfast was filling and kept full and clean (Yogurt / Fruits / Juices / Coffee and Teas / Meats / Eggs / Cereals / Pancakes / Waffles / English Muffins / Bagels / Breads / Conveyor Toaster). Pool area was decked out with chairs and umbrellas and wasn't crowded during our visit. Hotel is secured via room keys for the elevator and stairwells. Everything was spotless and luxurious looking for the price. If I had to pick a low point, it would be the bed / pillows. This can be subjective to each person, so I want to be clear that the bedding and everything felt quality, but I personally just couldn't seem to have a good restful night's sleep.

Eric was always friendly in correspondences and answered all of our questions about our family reunion group reservation and events. The desk team (Jade, Tiffany and Vickie) and night housekeeping team member Vicky were outstanding! Please share our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone for making our stay amazing! All of the guest rooms and facilities were clean during our 4 day stay, I highly recommend this location. The complimentary hot breakfast bar was very nice. Hands down the best hotel experience we've had with a large group (appx 100 people)! So many meeting and gathering spaces (indoor and outdoor), there was a conference going on and our two groups had plenty space.

Minutes from the Tampa Airport! Despite the constant air traffic, the rooms are very quiet. The pool is warm and well maintained! Lots of soft seating in addition to pool chairs. There is complimentary parking and breakfast. Lots of options at breakfast including vegetarian options! The rooms were clean and large and it was a bonus to have a couch seating area in addition to the bed space. Everything is modern and clean. The front desk staff is very kind and helpful. A little pricey for an overnight stay, but great hotel. FYI, this is located in a mixed business/residential area. It is not walkable to restaurants.
